Han har sedan början av 2000-talet forskat om sociala relationer och värdefrågor i skolan och har i över 10 år forskat om mobbning bland barn och ungdomar. Principal Investigator: Robert Thornberg | Our school bullying research group at Linköping University is particularly interested in examining bullying in school as moral and social processes. We Mobbning verkar fungera som en självuppfyllande och socialt inkluderande ritual där mobbarna skapar vad som är att betrakta som normalt. För offren leder känslan av att vara misskrediterad till brist på tillhörighet, att man förringar sig själv och svårigheter att hitta sin identitet.
